I Don't Wanna!
I just don't feel like blogging! Have you ever had a day like that? I am having one of those weeks!! I want to just lurk for a while. Terrible, isn't it???
I do have a trip coming up to Asheville, NC to see my niece graduate from Nursing School. She has already landed a full-time job! I am so happy for her. I am leaving on Thursday and returning home on Saturday...a very quick trip!! This will be the first time I am flying in years. My mother is coming with me so at least I will have company. I still have to pack and get organized for the trip.
I haven't been doing much in the way of crafting for about a week. I did sign up for a swap at swap-bot. As a newbie I am starting out small with a book mark swap. Now I need some inspiration to create them!!
No treasures for this Tuesday but I will count my blessings...that always puts me in a wonderful mood!!

Fairy Tales - Blog Carnival Post
My favorite fairy tale would be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It is the first movie I remember seeing in a real movie theater.
It was probably mid 1960's and a Saturday matinee. The Levoy movie theater was a classic. The big marquee out front, the fresh popped popcorn for sale in the lobby. The screen was so wide! What a way to see a classic animated movie come to life. The wicked Queen was scary and Snow White was so beautiful. The Seven Dwarfs were funny. The music was wonderful. I can close my eyes and remember the sounds and smells and sights.
The best part is as my children were born I was able to share this fabulous tale on video. I love all the Disney prinecesses but Snow White will always be my favorite!!

I had seen a piece by Katie Couric on https://www.microplace.com/ Yesterday I decided to find out more about this program. I made a small investment and plan on growing my portfolio in the future. I love the fact that I could choose where my money would go. I picked an investment that focuses on microloans to women. You can start with as little as $20.00 to open an account with them. I don't plan on getting rich but I do plan on continuing to find ways to help women around the world. Check it out...imagine if we all did just a little what a difference that can make!

Am I Crazy?
I went to the craft store on my lunch break and found something new. Now I only went in for two items and came out much poorer than I should have! Here is what I am going to try this weekend....
Punch Needle Embroidery!!!
The instructions are simple and the project looks pretty. The kit contains everything you need to start. I have already googled for tips and tricks. Just what I need...another hobby!!
